An orchestra on the move

Its regular season in four capitals and a long list of tours have earned the orchestra the title of the best travelled Orchestra on numerous occasions. The Orchestra?s external project as a cultural ambassador is in fact one of its fundamental objectives. Since 1984, when it embarked on its first international tour, it has conquered some of the most important musical sites in the world: Konzerthaus in Vienna, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Prinzregententheater in Munich, Kontzerthaus in Berlin, the Sala Sao Paulo or the Milan Auditorium. Its policy of exchanging with other orchestras, both nationally and internationally, also creates contact with other audiences.
